Financial Controller


Summary:

This candidate In Nacala / Mozambique will reports to Financial & Administrative Director and ensures that day-to-day information requirements are satisfied and that financial policies, processes, systems and controls are observed and functioning efficiently across of company in Mozambique.


Duties and Responsibilities:

ü Supervising the branch financial team;
ü Be warrant on the reporting and ensuring data is processed on-time and meeting strict reporting deadlines;
ü Be responsible of the financial monthly closing of his branch;
ü Be responsible for raising P&L for the branch and give relevant information to his Branch Manager;
ü Be warrant on a good archives system for all financials documents in cooperation with his Chief Accountant;
ü Keeping invoices, bank, cash, sales/client and varied operations books (Accounting entry);
ü Accounts evidences: suppliers, bank, expenses relating to visitors (follow-up suppliers statement, bank reconciliation);
ü Preparation and payment of invoices;
ü Be responsible to follow and give relevant information to the Branch Manager regarding the Gross Margin;
ü Assisting in the preparation and analysis of the management accounts;
ü Assisting in the production of P&L, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliations and Trial Balance for the company;
ü Deep involvement in the budget and forecasting process;
ü Be focus on his responsibility;
ü Prepare monthly activities report and compile statistics.


Required:

ü  Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Management;
ü  Qualified Accountant or Equivalent professional qualification;
ü  Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial control within financial services in big companies, preferential;
ü  Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential for the position;
ü  Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and Written) preferential;
ü  Knowledge in French preferential;
ü  Strong skills and proficiency in MS Software;
ü  Familiar with Data Bases;
ü  Experience in Accountancy software.

ü  Mozambican from the Diaspora or Expat with strong experience in Mozambique (mandatory).
