Following an in-depth training program of 4 months, the Junior Data Engineer is assigned to a technical laboratory and data centre, deployed to the rig site, which measures, acquires and analyses in real-time a large number of engineering parameters while drilling the well.

This is a rotational job that requires extensive travel with possible relocation.

Responsibilities include:

Installation and maintenance of GEOLOG software and hardware to acquire and measure drilling parameters;
Real-time monitoring of drilling activity supporting data analysis and interpretation;
First point of contact for the client onsite technical support;
Generating dedicated technical reports and logs;
Formation sample collection and description for chemical and geo-mechanical analysis.

Job Requirements:

Fluent in written and spoken English;
BSc degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics, Automation/Robotics or Physics;
Willingness to work abroad and in a multicultural environment;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
European or work permit within Europe.
