Leading Belgian Market player in Construction is looking for senior MEP Engineer for important project in Nigeria – Lagos

Tasks

This project contains the construction of 3 tower buildings, . Together with the project manager, you are responsible for the complete follow up of the MEP issues of these buildings.

– You are in charge of the analysis and the approval of the MEP designs, delivered by the consulting firm.

– You calculate the impact on cost and time due to variation and change of orders from the client.

– You crosscheck for consistency of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings and ensure the accuracy of the different plans.

– You are responsible for the scheduling and planning for MEP material procurement.

– You oversee and manage the work required for installation, construction, operation and maintenance of the MEP networks.

– Finally, you manage the commissioning phase of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation and are in charge of collecting the test results, certificates even as the assembling of the relevant O&M Manuals.

Profile

– You have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering

– HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing expert

– You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an international working environment, and have already supervised a team of at least 6 people.

– A good working knowledge of European norms concerning techniques, tools, equipment and materials used for MEP installations is necessary. A good knowledge of safety measures and precautions is also important.

– You are a born team player and proactive. You enjoy regular communication and have good interpersonal skills.

– Finally, you are fluent in English.
