ROLE SUMMARY:

• Assist with the design, development and implementation of new solutions, with scalability, performance, deployment/operation and end-user experience in mind.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years experience of functional and business analysis of IT Systems;
• 2+ years experience developing Java/J2EE;
• Strong SOAP, Web Service skills, UML and XML experience;
• BSc or preferably a MSc Degree in Computer Engineering;
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Languages as Java and C#;
• Proficiency using ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI frameworks;
• Knowledge of SQL language;
• Experience creating customer builds and using source control tools;
• Experience working with agile methodologies;
• Capable to meet tight deadlines and to work in high pressure environments;
• Experience on working with LDAP databases.
• Speak and writes fluent French, Netherlands, English;
• Available to work on a 6 month project in Brussels;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Functional and Business Analyst – identify requirements and produce specifications;
• Developer – write the actual code according to the specifications;
• Tester – initial testing of the generated code before it is integrated into larger tests for the entire solution;
• Training and documentation – produce both external documentation for the end-users but also internal documentation for other departments that need to support the solution.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
• Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset and ability to work with other software developers and departments;
